Running has been a catalyst of change for me. It has been my motivation for wanting to progress and to achieve, as well as giving me the freedom to explore and seek adventure. Running gave me the confidence to seek a new direction and focus in my life. Seeing the confidence levels rise in the women I coach, as well as the connections being made and goals being realised, are what keep me striving to be a better and more informed coach.
My purpose as a coach is to inspire and motivate others to explore their own possibilities. Running and strength training can teach us so much about our mental and physical endurance and how we cope under stress and pressure, which translates into our daily lives.
My clients work with me to help them to improve their running technique and efficiency, to help them build strength and core stability to run further and longer. I create specific individualised plans to keep them working towards creating good daily habits so that they can reach their goals and beyond.
Training with me is purely focused on your needs, whether you want coaching in running, strength or both as part of an overall fitness package. I split my time between training at Adapt Fitness in the daytime and group training through We Run Edinburgh in the evenings and weekends.
